It’s no secret that this has been a rather interesting year for us all.
We have spoken to our clients around the globe, who are struggling immensely with importing / exporting and general raised costs and taxes. We have all adapted along the way, and here at BDP lots of processes and policies have changed to accommodate the current climate.

Of course, it is not always all work and no play, we have found it incredibly important this year to ensure that we look after all our staff and ensure that our team work as a family.
Here are some of the things that can make a big difference to the state of mind in an office:
– extra surprise days off.
– a walk outside at lunchtime (you all know you sit behind your desks with a sandwich).
– sage coffee machine and a constant supply of beans.
– a bunch of flowers or a box of chocolates.
– random lunches to the office.
– away days and implementing staff ideas.
– working with charities and providing small benefits (our theme this year was animal shelters).
The little things make a difference
It’s the little things that make such a difference, and so we had a little vote in our offices to see what benefited them most about working at BDP Agency. Well, I’m sure you can guess, yes, the coffee machine won over the extra days off, shortly followed by our implementation of the great ideas put forward by our staff’s ‘away days’ this year. I did say that we have great teamwork here at BDP.

For now, as we wind down for Christmas, we chose this year to purchase dog blankets for each of the dogs at our local animal shelter to ensure they can keep warm throughout the bitterly chilly winter.
